He started to play with the American Subbuteo Association at the South Region Major tournament on April the 1st 2006, where he won .

He loves to play matching his players team with a full kit, he is a huge Manchester United fan even though in his first season 2005/06 he played with a Tottenham Hotspurs team [his Red Devils team was not ready yet] mounted on a Blue set of Extreme Works Best Touch bases built in traditional fashion.

He started the 2006/2007 season with a victory in The Turkey Classic, using his creation of a 2006/07 Manchester United away kit mounted over some brand new [just mounted before leaving for Savannah] "grey" set of Extreme Works Best Touch evolution but soon after he finally received his so long awaited team:

Manchester United 2006/07 home kit based on red Best Touch Evolution mounted with lowered discs and with the fantastic disc cover so loved by Alex. This team will play till the end of the 2007/08 season.

Waiting for a Manchester United 2007/08 home kit Winner of the Double to be mounted by Claudio Dogali creator of the Extreme Works bases and products, he started to play the 2008/09 season with a Manchester United 2006/07 home change kit [ black shorts] mounted over a set of "ice" Best Touch Evolution bases built in a traditional way, which played in the Sunshine Cup and Turkey Classic 2008.

At the Holiday Silver 2008 finally Alex brought his Manchester United 2007/08 home kit mounted over some "ice" Best Touch Evolution bases built with a lowered disc and a Fiorentina 2007/08 away kit mounted the same way, which played in the Maryland Cup and in the National Team competition.
